Happy Monday!! =)) Welcome back to "Make Something Monday"!!
How are your holidays going so far?? Are you enjoying yourself, and the festivities of the season?? Have you finished your gift list?? ...
If you're like me, you've probably gotten some things done, but even so, still can't believe it's already the 17th of December!! ;oP Right!?!? ...I am working on Christmas gifts, belated Hanukkah cards, and AmrcnWldFlwr Designs orders, and still trying to enjoy as much time with friends and loved ones as the sands of time allow!! =) ...Anyway, where ever you are on your holiday to-do list, you have to wrap those gifts eventially... =)
Which brings me to today's project: Wax Paper Bows!! These are super fun, super easy, and look so pretty!! =) So, let's get started...
First, gather your supplies:
- wax paper
- scissors
- ruler
- string, ribbon, or twine
Second: Cut four lengths of wax paper, in 12" x 12" pieces.
Next, with all four pieces in hand, begin folding them like a fan.
Next, tie the "fan" at the center with string or twine.
Now we're getting somewhere. =)
The next step is to begin to carefully pullout and apart the layers of your bow...
..Forming the "petals" of your bows as you go...
YaAaY!! It's really beginning to look pretty, isn't it?? =)
Now, just keep going until all of the layers are pulled out and formed.
And what you end up with is a beautiful bow "flower"...
TA-DAaaa!! =))
Now go wrap all those gifts... and have some fun!! ;)
Thanks for tuning in today, and checking out today's fun project! =) I hope you get lots of use out of this one!! =oD
See you next week, when I'll have a last minute, adorable gift tag project idea for you...
Until next time... Merry Christmas!! =)
May your imagination light your way,
~StacyLynn a.k.a. AllAmrcnWldFlwr [Flower]
